Rick Kamla

Rick Kamla (born July 19, 1969) is a television personality for NBA TV. He is also the midday co-host (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) with John Michaels on all-sports radio station 92.9 The Game in Atlanta. Despite getting into the sports industry as a football writer, it was Kamla’s basketball columns that caught the eye of NBA TV director Bryan Meyers. Kamla was eventually hired to host the groundbreaking fantasy show “Virtual GM”, and he’s been on NBA TV ever since. In a 2009 NBA TV Broadcast, Kamla made a controversial remark, which he later apologized for.

Rick Kamla has been a studio commentator for the NBA since January 2003. Currently, Kamla hosts Game Time on NBA TV. Kamla also contributes play-by-play to NBA, NBADL, WNBA, USA Basketball, Summer League and Euroleague games.
