Spencer Dinwiddie (born April 6, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Grand Rapids Drive of the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected with the 38th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft and played college basketball with the Colorado Buffaloes. Dinwiddie also attracted plenty of attention in William Howard Taft High School. Dinwiddie never earned All-American honors, but was named the CIF Los Angeles City Section Player of the Year, not to mention a variety of other awards, during his years with the Toreadors.
On December 8, 2016, Dinwiddie signed with the Brooklyn Nets. Two days later, he made his debut for the Nets in a 130–101 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, recording six points, one rebound and two assists in 10 minutes off the bench. On January 12, 2018, he recorded a near triple-double with 20 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds in a 110–105 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
